“In ancient meditations, there is one which is a love meditation. It teaches you to fill yourself with love. That feeling which can bring a tear of joy to your eye. Fill yourself with it…feel this joy. In love, all fear dissolves. There is no fear.” – Dr. Brian Weiss
Do you know what Wonder Woman’s kryptonite is?
In fact, it’s the same as EVERY woman’s kryptonite —- FEAR.
There has never been a woman that has achieved anything worth achieving, that wasn’t scared $%&@less before she did it.
In her commencement address at Harvard University in 2008, J.K. Rowling spoke about the benefits of failure. She explained that the worst of her own fears for her life and for her future had come true; she was a broke single mother, jobless and alone.
Failure taught her things about herself that she could not have learned any other way.
Failure helped her discover that she had a strong will and discipline.
Failure taught her that she had friends who loved her unconditionally.
Only with such a massive failure could she climb out of the pit of despair she was in, as she described it. Rock bottom became the solid foundation from which she built her life.
Failure is inevitable, as Rowling states: “It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.”
Until next time,
