“Courage may be the most important of all virtues, because without it one cannot practice any other virtue with consistency.” – Maya Angelou
Remove the word fearless from your vocabulary. There is no such thing as fearlessness. Fear exists as a natural response to outside stimuli. Becoming fearless, or conquering fear is a masculine battle. Allowing fear is the feminine.
Being brave doesn’t mean that you are fearless. Just the opposite is true, being brave means you give yourself the opportunity to fear more. Being brave means that you move forward and do the things that scare you most. It means delving into your deepest discomfort and shining a light on the unknown. The power to live ecstatically is always within you. It’s an inner mind game that you have the power to control and use for your benefit. The life you want and desire, the life of your greatest ecstasy, can be yours if you are ready to be brave enough to embrace the power of your fears.
