Restoring the power of your chakras is about how you can take back control of your health and wellness by learning to work with energy. Experiencing a Kundalini Awakening, which I’ll talk about today — is among one of the ways. Many people, perhaps you included, are familiar with the chakras however, Kundalini may be new.
Or at least, it was.
What is a Kundalini Awakening?
Kundalini energy rests at the base of the spine. When this dormant energy flows freely upward through the seven chakras and leads to an expanded state of consciousness, it’s known as a kundalini awakening.
Some people describe this experience as one of bliss, where others have described it as psychedelic, or even scary. This could be why it has been compared to that of a serpent. The uncertainty of knowing when it will strike.
Energy is unique.
And, can help explain the different experiences from one person to the next. What is important is becoming familiar with its power, its capabilities and its need for expression. When we become more familiar with a process things become less scary and this helps lead one to the feelings of euphoria, love and bliss — instead of fear.
The term Kundalini comes from a Sanskrit word ‘Kundal’ meaning coiled up. Kundalini is often called the serpent power and is the energy that nourishes the energy within us. It is the female energy that lives at the base of the spine inside the triangular bone known as the Sacrum.
Three Ways to Embrace your Kundalini Awakening
Before I dive into the three ways I wanted to share something with you that I think you will enjoy.
Recently, I shared these three ways with my Brave Ecstatic Woman tribe on Facebook through a video. And, while beginning to share one of the three ways I’ll get into here shortly, there was noise overhead. You couldn’t have planned this interruption.
Make no mistakes, I do not believe in coincidences.
So, while I stood at the Mediterranean Sea on a beautiful day about to share my three ways to have a Kundalini Awakening, this helicopter flew over. What I shared then, I want to share with you now and that is — the helicopter could speak to this kundalini awakening being almost secretive.
While sharing about the ‘juju’, energy centres and alignment I comped the kundalini awakening to orgasm like — cue helicopter. The beauty of live video is seeing is sometimes, believing.
Invite the Kundalini in …
One needs to be firmly prepared in both mind and body in order to be fully embrace the transformation. The one that comes with a Kundalini awakening. There are things you can do to help with the process, so you can manage the most common symptoms of Kundalini syndrome and experience a harmonious deployment of energy.
Give it permission to come in.
Set the intention.
The second thing I want to touch on, and will touch on in greater detail in the coming weeks is kundalini eating. There has been much more scientific research bringing diet into the picture in this realm of belief and understanding. It is believed that at a cellular level, we are not receiving the right nutrients.
Some ingredients are more vilified than others, and discovering them is imperative to our energy.
The last but certainly not least way of welcoming a kundalini awakening is through movement.
Because kundalini is described best as a primal energy, it requires primal movement.
So take a moment and think of Dirty Dancing, the highest vibration of movement you can give yourself. Channel that goodness through your energy, up through the centre of your body — welcome, appreciate and enjoy it.
Lastly, wake up each day expecting not to know what will happen. Instead, looking with curiosity for events to unfold. Instead of worrying and controlling, be present to whatever arises with the intention of meeting it with your best effort. Whatever happens in the process of spiritual awakening will be unpredictable and will move on, if you are simply the one noticing it.
Final Thoughts on a Kundalini Awakening
When we awaken we are not simply going through a change of awareness. We are entering the chemical or alchemical change of our physical body, soul and our mind. To understand how this works we have to not only see this from an energy viewpoint but also along the levels of cellular and molecular biology. If we separate one from the other we are labeling only one half of the same whole experience.
When we are able to understand this frequency of existence, that encompasses everything down to our cellular structures within our body, it changes everything.
Also, I would love to hear about if you have experienced a kundalini awakening — and what is was like, for you.
